History of gewoge AG
gewoge AG was established in 1891 as a co-operative property company operating in Aachen and Burtscheid. The initiators were private citizens in Aachen and Burtscheid seeking to tackle the prevalent lack of residential accommodation. In 1941 the City of Aachen became a stockholder in the company.
Today, gewoge AG is the largest residential property management company in Aachen with its headquarters in the heart of the city. With around 50 permanent employees, gewoge AG enhances the quality of living across its residential portfolio and provides high-grade, attractive accommodation throughout Aachen.
Although the statutory public benefit requirement was consigned to history long ago, gewoge AG still today has a special commitment to providing residential accommodation and ensuring a fair social balance in the residential districts of the city.
